Sinopsis

“La Infancia” is a fantasy short film divided into two chapters made in cooperation with Artificial Intelligence. This innovative collaboration between film and AI technology has resulted in a cinematic experience that fuses human creativity with the advanced capabilities of AI.

In the first chapter, viewers are transported to a magical world where the limits of imagination are blurred. A girl wakes up every night witnessing an inexplicable event. In the second chapter, we live the dream of a childhood utopia.

The project invites us to rediscover the beauty of childhood dreams and imagine futures, questioning the essence of human creativity.

Sinopsis

Silence and darkness reigned on a wandering planet until the sudden appearance of a star’s light. It begins to alter the planet’s nature, turning ice into water and revealing new forms, including some statues from which an odd sound emanates. The inhabitants of this planet, disturbed by the noise, decide to destroy the statues and, using their remnants, create massive structures to shield themselves from the light and thus return to the initial calm.

Madrid, 1996.

Eva, a young aspiring writer, is sitting in front of her computer’s huge screen in search of inspiration. She looks at the desk filled with rejection letters from various publishers. Among them, a padded envelope catches her attention. Upon opening it, she discovers a mysterious black mobile phone that starts vibrating.

When she decides to answer, a crying woman whispers to her: “Don’t look back.” Eva turns slowly: nothing, just the old wallpaper on the wall. When she turns back to the monitor, a disturbing figure with black eyes and sharp claws lurks behind her.

From that moment on, her reality begins to distort, and a strange presence starts to haunt her. The story plunges into a game of suspense and psychological terror as Eva struggles to understand what is happening and find a way out.

Sinopsis

In a Spanish town, a lineage of washerwomen have not only inherited this profession, but also the passion for flamenco dance and singing that enlivens their work.

One day Carmencita, the youngest daughter of the family, appears drowned in the river. Carmen, her mother, unable to accept it, is convinced of the imminent return of the girl, whose ghost continues to appear to her through a shadow.

Rocío, Carmen’s other daughter, must carry alone the weight of her own mourning and of a mother who seems to veil the memory of a dead daughter, forgetting herself along the way. Only through dance and by Rocío’s hand, Carmen will travel the mourning until she lets Carmencita’s ghost go, accepting her absence.

Filmed in Madrid underground, this film investigates the erosion of memory and the corruption of information, revealing how ideas can wear out due to the effects of time and technology.

The edition infects matter with memory with the help of the fusion of the future and the past of science fiction.

The work has been exhibited in renowned museums such as 1646 Experimental Art Space in The Hague, Netherlands, and CA2M in Madrid, Spain.
